Redbull Rampage is the most insane event in all of sports.  The bikers are gladiators and the desert is their Colosseum.   I take a trip down to Utah to check out the event and get quick interviews with the riders and more.  It’s a do not miss episode from a do not miss event. 

This week’s podcast is based around two mountain bike events in Prineville, Oregon, Black Sage and Proving Grounds.  Some of the best riders in the world converge upon this mecca of jumps and features and destroy them. The podcast is a mix of 15 interviews with athletes and insiders and 10 unforgettable minutes talking to Micah Black at Greg Stump’s house.

Todd Barber is an events guy.  He has spent he has spent his life being the man behind the scenes for more than 100 events.  He’s known for being the guy who helped concept and deliver the best action sports event of our time, Red Bull Rampage.  On the podcast we talk about coming up on snow, getting into events and of course, a lot of talk about the ins and outs of Rampage.  It’s a business episode and another good one. 

No event compares to Red Bull Rampage.  If I tried to describe how insane it was, I wouldn’t be able to do it justice.  What I was able to do was talk to 12 riders, and some legends to get the inside scoop on the venue, the athletes and the history of an event everyone must see in person at least once.
