Tanner Hall is a name that needs no introduction to those who know snow. Tanner rose to fame as a little kid in the late 90’s, when he started collecting X-Games medals. Nowadays, at 38, Tanner spends competing on the freeride World Tour, filming for his personal projects, and, most recently, shooting for X-Games Real Snow/tearing his achilles. The name Isaac Freeland is not one most people know in skiing, which is a shame. Isaac was named ‘Rookie of the Year’ for the Freeride World Tour in 2020. What’s more impressive than that is that he’s also the overall Freeride World Tour Champion—Holy Crap!! And, between almost not making the tour on his last attempt, his allergies, being an only child, ski racing, and more, it makes for an awesome listen.

Before people were talking about women in skiing, Kim Reichhelm was the women in skiing. From racing on the US Ski Team, to filming with Greg Stump, to creating the K2 women’s program, Kim has been ahead of her time and she’s done things in a way that only she can pull off. On the podcast we talk about losing toes, making the US Ski Team, getting kicked off the ski team, and becoming the first woman of extreme skiing….It’s another DO NOT MISS Episode with a living legend.

Caite Zeliff grew up in a ski town but she wasn’t a skier. She was an only child to a single mom; she didn’t have the easy life of most of my guests. She found skiing through a school program, found her way into ski racing, and then worked her ass off. She earned scholarships to elite high schools, came close to the US Ski Team and raced in college briefly, got hurt, and gave up on racing forever. With that identity in the past, she’s carved out a path in Jackson Hole that has her filming with TGR and Warren Miller. Another fun and easy listen....

Mike Hattrup is another living legend. He was part of “The Goon Squad”, on the US Freestyle Team, and a star Blizzard of Aahhh’s, and a longtime pro skier who turned telemark and backcountry badass.
